February 23 - A Word

So I'm cheating a little with this one. I really took it as part of "full", but it worked out just fine for "a word".
In case you're wondering, Fullsteam is a local brewery.

Some wispy clouds in a near cloudless sky. A welcome sight after 24 hours of rain.

February 19 - I Am

Exasperated.  I am lost and trying to find my way toward a new career. I am thankful to have a job while I try to figure it out, but it is boring work that has left me with a stereotyped job title for too long. I feel like I have lost my creativity and my confidence. I need to figure out what I want to do when I grow up, but my anxieties are getting in the way. Trying to work on it.

February 18 - Something you don't like.

Two chores - surprised? Grocery shopping and folding (a mountain of) laundry.

February 17 - In Your Hand

I "borrowed" a bar of chocolate that I got for my husband on Valentine's Day for this photo. Dark chocolate with pink peppercorns from the local chocolate factory. (Excuse my awful fingernails.)

 

 

February 16 - Perfect

We got a little snow today, which is a rare and welcome occurance. Ice crystals formed on our skylight, which created this imperfectly perfect pattern of light.


 

 

February 15 - Inside Your Fridge

Our fridge - time to go to the grocery store!

 

 

February 14 - Love is...

The beautiful stargazer lillies and goodies my husband got me for Valentine's Day (not pictured: a sweet card, a bottle of wine and some super fancy chocolates!).

 

 

February 13 - Walking

It was cold. It was wet. But we walked anyway, because the convention center is only three or four blocks away. Downtown Raleigh Alliance Annual Awards Meeting.

February 12 - Where You Ate Lunch

On a typical weekday at lunch time, you will find my colleagues and me here, in our modest breakroom. It is a place where we are free to leave the doldrums of work at our desks and share a few laughs. What happens in the lunchroom stays in the lunchroom!

February 11 - Entrance

Could it be that Spring is making an "entrance"?

February 10 - 3 O'Clock

My husband and his friend finished up a road race and got back to our house right at 3:00. My husband had made some cookies before the race and gave some to Charles and his family. Sadly, one of his sons is allergic to the nuts in the cookies.

 

 

February 9 - Guilty Pleasure

My guilty pleasure - Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzel Slims. (Must put down the bag, now.)
